Oglesby Commissioner of Parks Jim Cullinan is closing all city parks for the next two weeks and possibly longer. It’s to help fight the spread of coronavirus.
Cullinan is concerned that if Oglesby’s parks stayed open any longer, there would be people from other towns where parks are already closed coming and congregating. Cullinan says Oglesby police will break up any gatherings at the parks and keep an eye on them.
