The next executive director for the United Way of Eastern LaSalle County is Sally Honiotes. She’ll be taking over after Shelli Ocepek retired after thirty years. She says she looks forward to partnering with area organizations and continuing to build on the incredible legacy of the United Way. Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jeff Hettrick says Honiotes brings a wealth of experience from the organizations she worked for in the past that will be a great benefit to the organization. For the last ten weeks, she’s been working as an account executive for us here at WCMY and 95.3 Jack FM. She starts next Monday.
