Goblin Gaming grand opening

By WCMY News Jun 5, 2023 | 10:37 AM

A new storefront on LaSalle St. in Ottawa had their grand opening on Friday. Goblin Gaming owners Andy Bryan and Kevin Bennett, along with family, friends and members of the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce, celebrated the opening with a ribbon cutting in front of the store.

The store specializes in various games, from classic board and card games to table-top roleplaying games.

Bryan and Bennett met as correctional officers at the Pontiac Correctional Center and bonded over their mutual love for gaming.

In January, the pair decided to open the store and hope it will bring the local gaming community together.

Goblin Gaming not only offers gaming merchandise but also hosts weekly events for people to learn and play games with others.

Store hours are seven days a week from 10 a.m until 9 p.m.
