Ottawa’s 2 River Wine Festival kicks off tomorrow

By WCMY News Jun 1, 2023 | 1:13 PM

The 2 River Wine Festival kicks off tomorrow at 5 p.m. in the Jordan Block of Ottawa. The weekend-long festival features wine and spirits from multiple local and regional makers along with live music, food and vendors.

Some highlights of the festival include wine from August Hill Winery, spirits from Star Union Spirits, music from Lucas Sanor and the Junkyard Dogs, food from pitmaster Barbecue and the Baker, treats from Keke’s Sweet Shop and more.

Event Organizer Stephanie Stacy says keeping the festival local makes it special.

Tickets cost $35 for the entire three day festival and includes entry to the tasting areas, an event wine glass and eight tasting tickets. Designated drivers have free admission but cannot enter the tasting areas.

Festival goers should be prepared to face the heat, according to Stacy.

Tickets are on sale now online at ottawawinefest.com or can be purchased tomorrow at the festival entrance.
