IVCC offering summer classes for nursing students needing prerequisites

For prospective nursing students, IVCC is offering several prerequisite courses this summer. The college has eight-week summer classes starting May 30. Those interested in applying to IVCC’s nursing program are required to successfully pass multiple courses for the best chance of admission. VP of Student Services Mark Grzybowski says summer classes provide an excellent opportunity for students who want to get a jump start on their education. Nursing course offerings include Introduction to Nutrition, Human Growth and Development, Microbiology, Anatomy and Physiology and Certified Nursing Assistant. IVCC also has online and in-person courses outside of nursing available for current and visiting students.
