The Morris Hospital Healthcare Centers are investigating a cybersecurity threat. The healthcare company says it detected unusual activity on its computer network that showed an unauthorized third party had gained access to the network system. Public Relations Manager Janet Long says the incident doesn’t affect patients’ records or other hospital operations. The incident happened on a separate a system that doesn’t keeps patient records. The investigation is still active and involves a review of each file on the affected servers to find out whether any sensitive data was compromised. The healthcare company says they will provide updates if any more information becomes available.
