U.S. Representative Lauren Underwood will host a meeting on legislation affecting veterans at the LaSalle VFW on Donahue St. It’s this Saturday at 12p.m. U.S. Representative Mark Takano will join Underwood on Saturday. The pair will discuss the Honoring our PACT Act. The act helps veterans exposed to toxic substances during military service access benefits and healthcare. Underwood says her and Takano are focused on making sure that our veterans can receive the health care and benefits they deserve. All attednees must RSVP for the event.
