The city of Oglesby’s new mayor is Jason Curran. City Attorney Patrick Barry:
Commissioner Terry Eutis was the only returning member to the city council from the previous administration after he was appointed during Dominic Rivara’s administration.
Three new commissioners were also sworn in. Gregory “Mac” McDermott will be the streets and public improvements commissioner. Richard Baldridge will be the city’s public property commissioner. Tony Stefanelli will be the city’s accounts and finance commissioner.
One immediate change made was deciding which commissioner oversees the electric department. It was overseen by the streets and public improvement commissioner but will now be overseen by the commissioner for public property. Mayor Curran also thanked previous city council during his remarks at the end of the meeting.
