Habitat for Humanity getting ready to build home in Peru

By WCMY News Apr 27, 2023 | 4:46 AM

The city of Peru is giving an empty lot at 1124 Buffalo St. to Habitat for Humanity. Local chapter president Todd Volker says volunteers and a few contractors will put up a home for a low income family there over the next six months. Habitat hasn’t chosen the family yet. It’ll be a family that can earn the home.

Habitat plans to start a home in Princeton in the fall and Mendota next spring.
