Thirty-two agencies were at the Salvation Army’s outreach event in Ottawa yesterday afternoon. Representatives were there to tell what help they could provide for paying utility bills, advocating for children in the court system, going back to school, and more. Lt. Wayne Strayer fit them all into the community room at the Salvation Army office at Madison and Chestnut streets.
Strayer’s planning another event like it in the LaSalle-Peru area.
