A Streator man and LaSalle woman had charges against them approved by a LaSalle County grand jury Tuesday. 24-year old Alex Brown is charged with aggravated battery with a firearm after he allegedly shot a 27-year old man in the lower part of his body. The man was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. 31-year old Niesha Rodriguez is accused of obstruction of justice in the case. Brown’s next court date is set for next Thursday. Rodriguez is scheduled to be back in court next Friday.
