New COVID-19 cases in LaSalle County continue to go down. The LaSalle County Health Department reported 43 new cases this week. There have been 37,386 new cases so far. Two more people succumbed to the virus this week. 515 people have died from COVID-19 in LaSalle County so far. The health department says the Illinois Department of Public Health took back on death that happened in the county because it was reported wrongly. The county remains in the low community spread level.
