Construction is expected to be done within two months on the round-about north of Utica. The Illinois Department of Transportation says a temporary round-about pattern is in place now while the contractor works on what will be in the center. Flaggers will still be there until the project’s done. That’s expected to be in mid-June. The U.S. 6 and Illinois 178 intersection had been a four-way stop since the fall when construction paused for the winter.
