Oglesby’s next city clerk will be Becky Clinard. The City Council appointed her last night. Three votes for her were enough.
Two of the council’s departing members didn’t support her. Tom Argubright, who just lost reelection as a commissioner, abstained. Jim Cullinan, who just lost the race for mayor, voted no. Departing Mayor Dom Rivara voted yes, as did mayor-elect Jason Curran and Commissioner Terry Eutis.
The previous city clerk, Amy Eitutis, resigned last month.
