Two people are charged in connection with a shooting in Streator Thursday afternoon. Twenty-four year old Alex J. Brown is charged with aggravated battery with a firearm. His bond is $1 million. Thirty-one year old Niesha S. Rodriguez is accused of obstructing justice. Her bond is $75,000.
Streator police say a 27-year old man was shot in his lower body inside a home in the 600 block of E. Kent St. He’s at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. The police department says this was an isolated incident and there’s no threat to the public.
