Safe Journeys to have 2nd March to Believe for sexual assault awareness

Safe Journeys will hold its second annual March to Believe. That’ll be at noon Saturday, April 29 starting and ending in Ottawa’s Washington Park. Director of Community Engagement Melissa Engel says the theme this year is to believe women who have the courage to come out and say what happened to them. Because if she tells you, she trusts you a lot.

Engel says that’s also NOT the moment to go over what happened and what the victim could have done differently. Safe Journeys was previously known as ADV-SAS.
