A Lake Barrington man’s drug-induced homicide case won’t be continued if he can’t find a personal lawyer. That’s what Judge Cynthia Raccuglia told 56-year old Brian Mulcahy Thursday during his court date. Public Defender Doug Kramarsic said Mulcahy is still looking for a personal attorney even though he’s being represented by a public defender righ now. Raccugila says the case has been taking too long to go to trial. Mulcahy will be back in court next Thursday. He’s accused of supplying a fatal dose of heroin and fentanyl that killed a 15-year old Marseilles boy in April 2021.
