LaSalle County Judge H. Chris Ryan gave unconditional discharge to a man who tried to send THC into Sheridan Correctional Center in 2021 through the mail. That means 30-year old Brandon Milton needs to behave in prison because this charge can come back. He pleaded guilty to the charge Friday morning. He’s already serving a five-year prison sentence for an aggravated unlawful use of a weapons charge from Cook County. Prosecutor Jason Goode said when corrections officers were checking the mail, they found a package that seemed to be laced with THC. When they tested the package, it tested positive for THC.
