LaSalle business owner Dani Piland wants more child care to be available at affordable prices in the city. Her new City of LaSalle Foundation is raising money with a goal of starting a day care center next year.
Piland used to run the Sweet Sadie’s play center. It didn’t offer day care, but Piland kept hearing from people who wished it did. She says the need hasn’t gone away, so she’s doing something about it.
