Current COVID-19 cases in LaSalle County fell below 800 this past week. The LaSalle County Health Department reported 796 current cases this week. There were 834 last week. The health department says there were only 79 new cases this week with 117 recoveries. There have been 37,219 total new cases so far in LaSalle County with 36,423 recoveries. For a third straight week, there were no new death from coronavirus in the county. LaSalle County remains in the low community spread level according to the Centers for Disease Control.
