The American Legion Post in Peru plans to have the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall in Veterans Memorial Park in Peru in late August. It will also have replicas of the Middle East Conflicts Memorial Wall that’s in Marseilles and the First Responders Memorial Wall from New York.
The cost to have them will top $8,000. So the Legion is asking for donations and sponsorships. Checks can be made out to the Peru American Legion Post 375 with the word wall on the memo line. Sponsorships of $250 or more can get you or your organization named in the event program.
The public will not be charged to attend.
