Current COVID-19 cases in LaSalle County fell this week. It’s the first time in three weeks according to the LaSalle County Health Department. There were 899 current cases this week compared to 916 last week. The department also reported 62 new cases and 82 recoveries. So far there have been 37,092 total new cases with 36,193 recoveries. There were no new deaths from COVID this week. That means there have been 513 deaths in LaSalle County so far. LaSalle County remains in the low community spread level according to the Centers for Disease Control.
