Current COVID-19 cases in LaSalle County are going up again. There were 916 reported this week. The LaSalle County Health Department reported 91 new cases with 85 recoveries this week. There have been 37,021 total news cases so far with 36,111 recoveries. There was one additional death from coronavirus this week in LaSalle County. A man in his 90’s succumbed to it. There have been 513 deaths from COVID in the county so far. The health department also says they miscalculated last weeks recoveries so current cases went up last week as well, even though we reported that they went down.
