Charges are being considered against a 37-year old man arrested in Peru Saturday morning for walking around with a BB gun. Two people reported seeing a man with what looked like a shotgun in the area of Illinois 251 and 36th St. Peru Police Chief Sarah Raymond says officers found Jesse E. Shanyfelt at the Subway restaurant. She says the BB gun was made to look like a regular rifle.
