The North Central Illinois Council of Governments is looking to find the best area to place rail stops. It’s for the proposed Peoria to Chicago passenger rail service that would come through LaSalle, Peru, Ottawa, and Morris. Consulting firms with experience in developing and advising passenger rail service are asked to send in qualifications to the NCICG. The request by the NCICG is just for qualifications, not bids. They are due by March 17th.
