LaSalle County mobile home tax bills have been mailed out. County Treasurer James Spelich says residents can pay at the treasurer’s office at the Etna Rd. Courthouse in Ottawa between 8am to 4:30pm using cash, writing a check, or paying with a credit card. You will be charged a 2.5% convenience fee for the credit card. If residents can’t make it to the office they can use the drop box outside of the governmental complex on Etna Road. You can also mail you taxes to Treasure’s office or pay by phone by calling 1-833-975-2500. Spelich says the taxes are due by Monday, May 1st. Late payment fees start on May 2nd and will cost between $25 and $100.
