Oglesby City Commissioner Jason Curran says a transformer specialist will look things over Monday to find out why electricity went out for most of the city Wednesday night. In the meantime, some people are putting up with flickering lights. Curran says the problem is not within anyone’s home. It’s a problem the city had for a long time and took care of three years ago. He’s hoping to know more about the situation when the city council meets Tuesday night.
