A man in his 70’s and a woman in her 80’s died from COVID-19 this week according to the LaSalle County Health Department. There have been 512 deaths from COVID-19 in the county so far. The health department reported that current cases have fallen for a seventh straight week. There are 823 current cases reported this week. There were 82 new cases reported this week with 98 recoveries. The health department says there have been 36,706 total new cases so far with 35,883 recoveries. LaSalle County remains in the low community spread level according to the Centers for Disease Control.
