Davis says food, housing, and health care are certainly important things that no one can be against. But he feels local charitable organizations should have a more prominent role in helping people with them. He doesn’t feel the state budget should power all the help.
Davis likes Gov. Pritzker telling the stories of hard working people such as the successful mayors and 90-year old Joyce DeFauw, who just got her college degree.
