Nancy Reeder, 83, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023 at LaSalle County Nursing Home.
Cremation rites have been accorded to Ottawa Funeral Home.
Nancy was born August 18, 1939, in Alliance, OH, to Angelo and Mary (Stefenal) Cook.
She worked as a waitress all her life and probably served all of Ottawa while working at Len and Rico’s Cafe, Hiway, Vic’s and the South Side Cafe. She loved to cook and crotchet and could usually be found on her porch swing keeping an eye on the neighborhood.
She is survived by her kids, Laurie (Paul) Fox of Rantoul, Kurt Dilley of Ottawa, Pete (Dawn) Dilley of Ottawa, Cindy (Bill) Dowdall of Dryden, NY, and Pat (Robin) Dilley of Ottawa; her stepchildren, Jeff, Brian, and Gil Reeder; her sister, Cathy Horn; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by parents; her husband, Chuck Reeder; her daughter, Maria Cuslick; her step son, Chris Dilley; and her siblings, Patricia Stiles and Michael Cook.
Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donors choosing.
