Jason Bunting takes office for Ill. House 106th

Jason Bunting of Emington has begun serving as the state representative from the 106th Illinois House District. His first day on the House floor was today. Bunting replaces Tom Bennett who became a state senator last month. Seven Republican Party chairs from the counties where the 106th reaches appointed Bunting over the weekend. The district reaches into LaSalle, Grundy, and Livingston counties.
