St. Rep. Jed Davis has five committee assignments. The new lawmaker representing the 75th Illinois House District will be on the committees for “Cities and Villages”, “Economic Opportunity and Equity”, “Mental Health and Addiction”, “Small Business, Tech Innovation, and Entrepreneurship”, and “Transportation: Rail Systems, Roads, and Bridges”.
Davis is a Republican. He says he hopes both parties can work together on the issues in those committees.
Davis says his experience as a civil engineer and a small business owner will help him in his committee assignments.
