A man and woman from Streator have turned themselves in. The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department says 28-year old Alyssa K. Shelton and 25-year old Timothy M. Wheaton were wanted since September in connection with a shooting. They turned themselves in Monday night.
They’re charged with aggravated battery. Wheaton is also charged with recklessly firing a gun. Authorities wanted to find them after they allegedly left a shooting scene on September 17th in the 1400 block of S. Cleveland Ave. in Streator. Court records show both were already accused of recklessly firing a gun or guns in an incident in May.
Shelton’s bond is set at $50,000. Wheaton’s is $100,000.
