The North Central Illinois Council of Governments is inviting people to hear the latest on the Peoria-to-Chicago passenger rail idea. That will be at Illinois Valley Community College in Oglesby at six on Thursday, February 23rd. Economic Development Planner Duane Calbow says development partners and anyone else can go.

The passenger rail system would likely have several stops between the two big cities, including some in LaSalle County.
