While it’s changing trash hauling services, the city of LaSalle is getting $55,500 toward a recycling effort. The American Beverage Association is giving the money to help pay for 96-gallon recycling bins. They’re part of the Every Bottle Back program aimed at recycling not only bottles, but also cans, paper, and cardboard. Lakeshore Recycling Systems is distributing bins starting today. It will begin pickup next week.
