Recoveries outnumbered new COVID-19 cases in LaSalle County for a second week in a row. The LaSalle County Health Department says there were 100 new cases and 162 recoveries this week. There have been 36,395 new cases so far and 35,386 recoveries in the county. For the first time in about a month, there were no new deaths from COVID-19 this week. That means the fatal count remains at 509. LaSalle County remains in the low community spread level for COVID-19 according to the Centers for Disease Control.
