A broadcaster turned teacher is one of the inductees in this year’s Ottawa High School Hall of Fame. Bill Nevin graduated in 1982. He did well in speech events, was in the National Honor Society, and was president of his class. After graduating from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 1986, he went on to work in broadcast news departments in Illinois, Missouri, and West Virginia. He’s an announcer for some sports teams. And he currently works as a teacher at West Virginia University.
