Morning Amtrak train runs between Chicago and Quincy resume today. The company cancelled the Illinois Zephyr and Carl Sandburg morning runs two months ago because of staff shortages. That affected Princeton, Mendota, and Plano. Amtrak announced last week, the eastbound number 380 and westbound number 381 trains would run again starting today.
