State Police say two drivers lost their lives in a wrong-way traffic crash on Interstate 39 northbound four miles north of Mendota last night. A driver going southbound in the northbound lanes died. So did a driver whose vehicle was hit head-on. That happened at about 11:15pm. The crash happened about a mile south of the LaSalle-Lee county line. Police were first alerted to a wrong-way driver in Lee County a few minutes before.
