Ottawa police say two shootings last week appear to be related. Detective Cpl. Kevin Reynolds says police were called Friday night to the area of E. Superior and Guion Streets and found two homes and a vehicle with bullet damage on nearby Canal Ave. About three and a half hours later, police were called to the 200 block of Buchanan St. where they found another home and vehicle with bullet damage. At this time, police say there is no immediate threat to the public. Anyone with information should call the police department at 815-433-2131.
