A Mendota man has been found dead after he was reported missing Friday last week. Mendota Police say received a missing person report for 65-year William Minder that morning. He hadn’t been seen since three or four in the afternoon around his home in the 1100 block of 1st Ave. After a quick investigation, Minder’s body was found Saturday within a couple of blocks of his house. No foul play is suspected. Mendota Police and the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office are still investigating.
