IDOT contractors began the $2.4 million project that’s one of our top stories of the year in the spring. Getting some supplies took longer than planned because of supply chain issues plaguing many industries. So the fall 2022 expected completion time passed with the project not done yet.
IDOT paused it for winter. It’s now expected to open in the spring next year.
