After an $8,275 check from Nucor Tubular Products in Marseilles was donated Monday for Freezin for a Reezin, the total raised is now $91,155. The money includes both food and monetary donations. $73,885 in cash and checks was donated. $17,270 is the value of food and other essentials brought from area schools and from other people’s donations. All of the money benefits the Ottawa Community Food Basket. Over $30,000 has been raised over the last three years by Nucor with the employees making the first donations and the company matching them.
