Grundy County Circuit Clerk appointed to new Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Domestic Violence

One of the new members of the Illinois Supreme Court’s Committee on Domestic Violence is Grundy County Circuit Clerk Corri Trotter. Trotter was appointed to be on the committee until 2025. The committee’s job is to review, analyze, and examine the impact of state legislation that relates to domestic violence and human trafficking in the court process. 15 other directors of anti-domestic violence groups, judges, and professors from Waukegan to Carbondale will be on the committee. Winnebago County Judge Jennifer J. Clifford is the chairperson of the committee.
