A new Illinois Fraternal Order of Police Chapter has been created for LaSalle and Bureau counties. Starved Rock Lodge 338 was created last Tuesday to offer advocacy, support, and fraternal benefits for active duty and retired law enforcement officers. Lodge Pres. and Earlville Police Chief Darin Crask says the organization hopes to make an impact on an officer’s quality of life and on the people who serve and protect. Anyone who wants to join should have worked in a law enforcement job such as a police officer, conservation police officer, county sheriffs, or coroner. Officers who served in LaSalle, Seneca, Utica, and Princeton have joined so far. The chapter was officially recognized last Tuesday.
