Carus LLC has once again having their Giving Fence. This is the second year in a row they are doing it. Communications Manager JoLynn Anzelc says the company is looking for new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, scarves, and other winter clothing. She says the idea for creating the fence came from an employee who was traveling in the Bloomington-Normal area.
Anzelc also says it’s important to highlight the purpose of the giving fence which allows anyone in need to get winter items at any time at the company’s headquarters on 5th Street in Peru. The fence is up now and will stay up until December 31st. If you want to donate, winter items can be left in a bag and hung on the fence anytime.
