Disaster drill Tuesday for LaSalle Station

Emergency response agencies will hold a drill for LaSalle Station Tuesday. The Illinois Emergency Management Agency calendar says the drill will simulate some kind of hostile action against the nuclear power plant. The people who would manage such an emergency will be tested on what they should do in response to various developments. Local media, including this station, will participate by demonstrating to observers what we would do to keep the public informed. That will all be behind the scenes, so you won’t hear it on the air.
