Wisconsin police believe a Cedar Point man may have molested a young relative dozens of times over a one-year period before someone else learned about it. LaSalle County deputies arrested 38-year old George E. Bond III yesterday on a warrant from Columbia County, Wisconsin.
The Portage Daily Register newspaper reports Bond, the alleged victim, and another person were at a resort in Wisconsin Dells in July last year. That third person overheard what sounded like inappropriate activity and made a recording. Back home in LaSalle County in August, the person notified LaSalle County’s sheriff’s department and an investigation began.
Bond denied having such contact with the alleged victim; she says he forced her multiple times since July 2020. A Wisconsin judge approved a warrant against Bond earlier this month.
