Former professional basketball player Chris Herren will talk at Streator High School. He’s to talk about overcoming drug addiction. That’ll be at 6pm Thursday, December 1st.
Streator High School’s Operation Snowball is bringing him in. There will also be tables with information from local addiction recovery groups. The talk is free to the public.
Herren played for the Denver Nuggets and the Boston Celtics and struggled with addiction while he was a pro player.
