A waterfall at Starved Rock State Park will be shown on a postage stamp. The LaSalle Canyon stamp will be one of a dozen waterfall stamps featuring waterfalls from all over the country. The U.S. Postal Service hasn’t finalized the designs, so the release date isn’t available yet. Stamp buyers next year will also be able to get stamps featuring the lunar new year, author Ernest J. Gaines, Chief Standing Bear, railroad stations, women’s soccer, a school bus, and various animals.
